• Begin your day with a visit to the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, a historic and scenic landmark in Almaty. Here, you can explore key attractions such as the Eternal Flame, the Zenkov Orthodox Cathedral, the Memorial of Glory Monument, and the Kazakh Museum of Folk Musical Instruments.Next, head to Shymbulak Mountain Ski Resort, located at an altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level. Enjoy a breathtaking ride on the cable car, offering panoramic views of Medeu Gorge, home to the Medeu Ice Skating Rink—the world’s highest outdoor skating rink at 1,691 meters above sea level. At Shymbulak, you can experience three different cable car routes (2,200 m, 2,800 m, and 3,200 m) that showcase the stunning mountain landscapes. Activities here include skiing and snowboarding in winter, horse riding year-round, rope parks, hiking tours, and a variety of restaurants offering diverse cuisines. Conclude your day at Koktobe Amusement Park, perched at 1,100 meters above sea level. This vibrant recreational area features fun attractions, scenic viewpoints, and an array of dining options. The park is easily accessible from downtown Almaty via a cable car ride, offering a spectacular aerial view of the city.

DAY 3: GUNNY ETHNOGRAPHIC VILLAGE – GREEN BAZAR – ARBAT BOULEVARD

• Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a cultural journey to the Gunny Ethnographic Village.
• At 11:00 AM sharp, enjoy a traditional Kazakh show, featuring performances by the Sarbaz Ruhi team, where you’ll experience national games and customs. Immerse yourself in local traditions.
• Tasting Sessions – Enjoy fresh baursaks (fried dough), horse milk, and traditional tea with homemade jams.
• Yurt Exploration – Learn about the structure and cultural significance of the Kazakh nomadic dwelling.
• Horseback Riding – Experience the thrill of riding like a true nomad.
• Archery – Learn to shoot arrows under the guidance of Kazakh Amazon warriors.
• Traditional Dance (Kara Jorga) – Join in and learn the energetic movements of this iconic folk dance.
• After the activities, enjoy a buffet-style lunch at the Huns Ethnographic Recreation Center, featuring a variety of local and vegetarian dishes.In the afternoon, visit Green Bazaar, one of Almaty’s oldest and most vibrant markets, operating since 1868. Here, you can explore an array of fresh produce, spices, and traditional delicacies. Just nearby, stop by the Rahat Chocolate Factory shop, famous for its delicious Kazakh chocolates—a perfect souvenir to take home.Wrap up the day with a walking tour along Arbat and Panfilov Boulevards, where you can browse through handmade crafts, jewelry, and a variety of international and local restaurants.
